Purpose of this article:

The Batch Manager is used to trigger manual runs of Source or Platform jobs.

Instructions:

Option1: Manually triggering a Source job

See https://kadaai.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/KS/pages/675708946/KADA+Integration+Setup+and+Management#4.-Manually-Triggering-Source-loads

Option 2: Manually triggering a Platform job

In general these jobs will only need to be run for maintenance or reruns if a batch fails.

In Batch Manager there is a Platform section which lists the jobs that can be run. Click RUN for the job you want to trigger.

A pop-up will appear. Click RUN to start the job. In some cases a date may need to be provided. KADA Support will advise when to set this.

Note: Rerunning a failed source job

If the job failed at the extraction step

  1. Check the error. Contact KADA Support if required.

  2. Rerun the source job

If the job failed at the load step

  1. The landing folder failed directory will contain the file with issues.

    1. Find the bad record and fix the file

  2. Then rerun the source job
