The K platform works by connecting the data ecosystem and personalising the experience through the way you use data. During your profile set up you will be asked to:

  1. Confirm your team and job type

  2. Choose your display settings and email preference

  3. Link your account(s)

If at any stage you want to change your settings, access your Profile Settings page by clicking on your avatar icon in the bottom left hand corner.

Step 1) About You

Two key pieces of information to help K build a profile and tailored experience for you are:

  • Teams you are part of (You can select multiple teams)

  • Job Type

  • If your teams or job type are not in the list contact your Admin to ask if they can create the team / job type. You will be able to link your team and job type later via the Profile Settingspage.

Step 2) Personalise your K Setting

  • Choose your Display preferences

    • Light mode: Background is white

    • Dark mode: Backgroun is black

  • K can send a Daily Briefing to your email. The K Daily Briefing keeps you up to date with key updates that occurred within the last 24 hours. These updates are specific to your data ecosystem and K profile.

    • You can choose to either receive the daily briefing via email

    • If you choose not to receive the daily briefing, you can also see the key updates via the K Feed on your homepage when you log into K.

Step 3) Link your user accounts

Help K personalise your experience by linking your accounts.

You may use different accounts for different sources (databases, platforms and tools). Search for accounts you use (e.g. jdoe1, jdoe@company.com) and link them to you in K. Only accounts from sources integrated with K will appear.

When adding your personal identifiers, do not add system / generic ID’s that may be used by applications or many people.

Be careful to not link Accounts that do not belong to you. You do not want to accidentally claim someone else's Account!

Once an account is linked, only Admin Users have the ability to remove an incorrectly linked account.

Step 4) Confirm profile

Check that you’ve linked all of your accounts and then click Finish.
