Objective of this article

  • The K platform works by connecting the data ecosystem and personalising the experience through the way you use data. In order to do this, K needs to know what team you belong to, and what ID’s you use to access the data sources, platforms and tools in the data ecosystems.

<info> K has the ability to connect different ID’s you may use across different systems.

<warning> Do not add system / generic ID’s that may be used by applications or many people.

Instructions

  1. When you first log into K you will be taken to the onboarding form

2. Select a team by searching for a team. After adding a team press NEXT.
If your team is not in the list ask the Admin to create the team first before proceeding.

3. Add your ID’s to the list of available sources by searching for your ID. When you have added all your ID’s press NEXT. More sources may be added over time. You can add new ID’s later via your Settings page

4. Review the summary of your details. Press Complete

<warning> Before saving double check the ID’s you have entered. Fixing an incorrect ID will require an admin to do work and they hate doing work.

Congratulations. You have now completed your onboarding to K. It may take some time (up to 24 hours) to connect all of your ID’s together in K.

<tip> To change the team you belong to or add another ID, click on your user badge at the bottom of the sidebar and click settings.
