Profiles include a combination of automated and manually curated context that helps you understand how, where and when to use the item.
The Data Profile page allows you to:
See insights about how the data is used and how trusted the data is
Understand the lineage of the data and it’s connections/joins with other items
Assign owners, stewards, classification
Link collections and tags
Capture governance attributes like access, domains and verified use cases
Ask questions and capture knowledge like business logic and decisions about the data
Capture changes (automated and manual) about the data
Launch applications like impact assessments and lineage explorer
Navigate to linked collaboration channels that discuss the data item
Find code used with data, or sheets the belong to reports to reuse.
