K Notifications

K has the capability to send a range of notifications to your email to help keep your data users across recent changes, changes/incidents that may impact them, and automate receiving regular extracts.

This page will outline the types of notifications that can be customised.


K Daily Briefing

K Daily Briefing notifies K Users with key updates that occurred within the last 24 hours. These updates are specific to the user and is tailored based on their usage, profile and customisation (e.g. has opted-in to follow a data asset.) Updates in the K Daily Briefing will also appear in the K Feed that is located on the homepage.

K Admins have the ability to turn on or off the K Daily Briefing email for all users.


K Alerts

K has the ability to send alerts that contain extracts from Ask K repots or any saved Filter direct to any email address. This means you can automate K alerts to non-K users and could be a great way to automate reminders and prompts to teams. For example, scheduling an automated weekly alert containing an extract with all open data issues for a specific domain.

Change and Impact Notifications

K has the ability to detect which users are using a specific data asset. Through this key feature, K can assist project managers, data governance managers and incident managers notify impacted users.

Change Impact/Incident notifications are personalised for each user. The tailored notification will specify a list of their impacted items (tables, reports etc).
